About

SMB Tech News covers the security, software and scam news that actually reaches a small business — the flaws in the gear a small office runs, the fraud aimed at its bank account, the platform changes that alter how it works on a Monday morning.

Most technology news is written for people who run data centers. This is written for people who run a dental practice, a print shop, a law office or a diner, and who own the technology decisions by default rather than by training.

Who publishes it

SMB Tech News is published by 30th West Technology Solutions, an IT services company in the Antelope Valley, California.

Stories are not chosen because they suit a product, and no vendor pays for coverage here. We do not accept paid or sponsored posts.

The site does carry ads, and 30th West is one of the advertisers on it. Ads are labeled as ads and have no bearing on what gets covered. The contact page sets out how that works.
