Arms Cyber expands program to help small business security providers fight ransomware

Arms Cyber announced an expansion of its Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) Program on September 30, 2026, according to a press release. The move aims to help security partners deliver better ransomware protection to small and medium-sized businesses. John Pittenger, VP of Channels and Alliances at Arms Cyber, says the company is putting significantly more focus behind the program. SMBs are increasingly targeted by ransomware, yet most rely on trusted MSSPs to manage their security, Pittenger said. He added that the program gives providers a way to deliver comprehensive resilience.

The program lets partners integrate Arms Cyber‘s technology into their existing security systems. They keep full ownership of the customer relationship. That matters if you already have a provider you trust. It means they can add protection without handing over your data or your business. The technology uses a three-part approach: Conceal keeps data invisible to unauthorized users. Adapt detects behavioral ransomware and contains it using decoys. Restore protects clean copies of data for rapid recovery.

Partners can start with core ransomware protection and scale up. They can add AI Ransomware Protection to shield endpoints against both AI-generated and conventional threats. They can also add AI Data Resilience to safeguard backup infrastructure. This ensures fast, uncompromised recovery if an attack gets through. Pittenger noted that MSSPs can deepen existing customer relationships and increase revenue without constantly acquiring new accounts.

What to check with your security provider

  • Ask your current security provider if they’re part of the Arms Cyber MSSP Program or plan to adopt its stealth-driven ransomware technology.
  • Inquire whether your provider can add ‘AI Ransomware Protection’ to your existing security portfolio to shield your endpoints.
  • Check if your provider offers ‘AI Data Resilience’ to ensure your backup infrastructure is safeguarded for fast recovery.

The program is available today for qualified MSSPs. You can check armscyber.ai or contact Pete Johnson if you want to see the details. (Arms Cyber)
